- The placement of the hotel was very good, being near 3 important train/subway stations from where you can get to the center of the city, or the airport or have a connection to the most important areas of the city. - The personnel was very kind and helpful and gave us the information we needed. The hotel even had physical maps of Berlin at the reception which helped us explore the city, having marked all the important landmarks and the subway map. - The hotel had a locker room where you could store all your bags before the check-in and it helped us to travel on the first day in the morning before the check-in time at the hotel. - Even though the hotel is very close to the train lines, with the windows closed (being okay for us in September), we couldn't hear any train passing nearby, which was very impressive. If you open the windows, the trains are kinda of loud but for us wasn't a problem since we were mostly visiting. - The breakfast in the morning was very good and worth the cost. We had a very good breakfast with juice and coffee at discretion every morning before going to visit the city for the whole day. - There was a vending machine in the hotel with water and some snacks and was very good for quick supplies before sleep if we didn't have time to check the market. - Every day the room was cleaned the towel was changed if required and the room was without any problems.

Location was central to where we needed to be - 10 minute walk from the Train / Underground Station. We were there for a Scorpions gig at the Mercedes-Benz Area which was 3 stops on the underground or a 30 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is very close to shopping mall which has a supermarket and a food court with McDonalds, Pizza etc. There are loads of other places to eat in Alexanderplaz too. We ate locally - food is amazing at Julchen Hoppe - family run pub/eating house - staff are friendly, put up with my rubbish attempts at speaking German with humour and speak English. Staff at the hotel were awesome too, speak English, are friendly and so helpful. On checking in, found out that one of the staff at reception had a Scottish connection so felt even more at home… (being from Scotland). Our flights were changed at the last minute - so we arrived earlier than expected, but they found a room for my daughter (who is chronically ill) to lie down in and recover from the journey. Can’t thank them enough.

I absolutely loved this hotel, location, staff, the room. Very clean and modern room, small but I think the comfiest room I have ever stayed in, it just had that coziness. Clean and warm. Very good sound isolation between room and corridor. Staff very attentive and pleasant. We didn’t have any food there so can’t comment on it. Can barely hear the noisy teams when windows closed ( we stay in the room facing yard so I can’t comment on rooms facing rails directly). Overall very pleasant and clean hotel with great location, 5 minute walk to Alexanderplatz tram station/ shops/ restaurants. Definitely recommend😊

There is a big shopping center nearby, with many stores. The subway station is not far. The museums are not that far away, and can be reached with a short ride on the subway or walking for those with more patience. I made the journey by foot to the museums. There was also a Christmas market at Alexanderplatz. It is possible to go to the subway station going through the shopping center, which is great on cold days.

The room was very clean and neat. There is a railway next to the hotel, but the window was very soundproof and passing trains didn't bother that much. (However, it may depend on individual noise sensitivity.) A perfect location with some historic sites right next to the hotel. Railway and U-Bahn stations are within 5 minutes of walking away. Alexa mall with numerous shops and supermarkets is right across the road.
